As the enemy charges towards you, you tighten your grip on your sword. The 15th Century Knight Gauntlets protect your hands from the enemys attack. Made from 16 gauge steel, this pair of gauntlets comes in two sizes. They feature an overlapping plate design layered on top of a leather glove. This design allows for both protection and dexterity. Larger plates cover the back of the hand and wrist. The plate covering the wrist has a pointed bottom edge that extends past the wrist.
Smaller plates cover the fingers and thumb, creating a more articulated construction. Also, the final plate at the tips of the fingers and thumbs have two small holes. The gloves secure to the plates with leather loops and stitching through those holes. There is a strap at each finger that the glove goes through and one across the palm of the hand. The holes and loops allow the wearer to remove and replace the gloves, if necessary. Wear the 15th Century Knight Gauntlets to your next historical reenactment or Renaissance faire.
Please note that steel thickness may vary slightly due to the handcrafted methods used in the manufacture of this item.
